Our Story

Hoppy was founded with a simple observation: millions of Indians spend hours every day inside buses, autos, and metro trains — yet the experience they have is passive and disconnected. We set out to change that.

Our founding team brings together experience in ad-tech, embedded systems, and urban mobility. We have spent years understanding the unique challenges of deploying technology inside moving vehicles in Indian conditions — from extreme temperatures and vibration to unreliable cellular connectivity.

The result is a platform that is purpose-built for transit: ruggedized hardware, intelligent offline-first software, and a content delivery system that brings entertainment, engagement, and experiences to commuters wherever they are.

What We Believe

• Transit time is valuable. Public transport carries the single largest captive audience in India. We believe that time deserves to be enriched, not wasted.
• Data changes everything. When you understand commuter patterns by route, time, and location, you can deliver content that is genuinely relevant and useful.
• Technology must be invisible. Our screens, sensors, and software work silently in the background. Fleet operators and commuters should never have to think about them.
• India needs its own solutions. Western tech does not account for the heat, dust, connectivity gaps, and operational realities of Indian transit. We build for this environment first.
